Flag burning is not offensive... not compared to acts such as denying basic life, liberty & pursuit of happyness to little children (e.g. voting against CHIP and against universal single payer health care)... those are the truly offensive acts because the cause true harm, something the burning of a symbolic piece of cloth has never done.

Statisticaly lies by misleading: The 2000 population was only 21,675, and there was no control for other changes in the environment.

So easy to throw stones without analysis of cause and effect... failures of the public education system seem to be far more related to failures of parenting than of that education system, and those failures are far less severe than the ones seen in most non-public education systems which for the most part teach the parroting of belief systems not thoughts or even analytical facts.

And independent studies show that under Clinton our tax+debt load were at a low, which King George W quickly destroyed, with both a bump in taxes and a huge bump in debt and the largest recession in 75 years. Yup, the GOP Tea Party is full of lies... and too many on this list are buying them!

... and we'd have no roads, no airports, no police force, no military, many would have no medical care, our aged would die of hunger & exposure... the list goes on. It is the filthy rich who are keeping the people needy... hungry, poor, unhealthy. And the filthy rich are supported by folks who spread their outright lies about topics such as tax rates. Today's tax rates are lower than they have been in decades, and the tax code is full of loopholes that mean that anyone with a tax lawyer (which the rich have plenty of) pay far less than even our marginal rates (which at their highest are still 10% lower than 40%). The effective tax rates are even farther below the quoted 40%. These lies about how high taxes are don't fool everyone... just the fools who put them forward!

By that argument for how we should behave today, no matter how historically correct or incorrect it is, the framers should have framed the constitution to address problems of the 1500s not the then current problems.

Independent fact checking repeatedly shows that the lies come more consistently from organizations such as New Corp and the filthy rich backers of the GOP such as the Koch brothers. And big lie filled government has repeatedly been the product of election of the GOP (Reagan & Bush II are both great examples).

Much more likely that a love of weapons is a sign of such emotional issues... as they say about folks driving big off road vehicles on city streets: "big wheels, little pee pee"...
