Not "sort of" Jim K...it exactly reminds me of the Hitler Youth. And ACORN plays the role of the Nazi Block Captains.

A truly evil organization of truly evil people. But its nothing that can't be handled by a well armed populace.

I like the opposite "American" version better - “If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!” Samuel Adams, Patriot.

So much for Individualism...

This is being done through a number of agencies right now. ACORN - DHS - ICE

Yes we can - yes we can - yes we can...disgusting

Anon, I think that's fairly accurate. Most people I talk to, including perfect strangers seem to have lost all faith in anything that can be termed "Main Stream Media". The system is beginning to show some cracks...

Its not about "my attitude" Waffler...its about the facts. And the facts are that organizations based in the US are the front line of the NWO. Like it or not...its the "truth".

Sadly, one thing that has entirely escaped modern American foreign policy is empathy. Without much humility or regard for human life, our foreign policy has been reduced to alternately bribing and bombing other nations, all with the stated goal of “promoting democracy”. But if a country democratically elects a leader who is not sufficiently pro-American, our government will refuse to recognize them, will impose sanctions on them, and will possibly even support covert efforts to remove them. Democracy is obviously not what we are interested in. It is more likely that our government is interested in imposing its will on other governments. This policy of endless intervention in the affairs of others is very damaging to American liberty and security. ~ Ron Paul

Tom, not only are they small minded, they are afraid. That's why they (the Obamunists) are going after your guns and ammunition. That's why they are spying on you. If someone else was trying to steal your money, your guns and your freedom and enslave your children...how would you react? (don't answer that, just think about it)

Laws today are so numerous and so ambiguous that we can all be guilty of something at any given moment. In this way the state reserves for itself the right to do anything it wants to any of us at any given time, for any number of reasons. Welcome to the "New American Century".

Perhaps the 21st century will be the century of revision. Maybe the state will collapse under the weight of its own corruption. Maybe, people will realize they are merely cannon fodder for the corporate elite, maybe they will be enraged.....maybe...

Anonymous. I refer to natural law and natural "human action". These are things that are not dictated by any form of politic. They are not dictated at all...

Good insight Archer. Truly observant.

And another..."Council on Foreign Relations, quotes about Education: The sovereignty fetish is still so strong in the public mind, that there would appear to be little chance of winning popular assent to American membership in anything approaching a super-state organization. Much will depend on the kind of approach which is used in further popular education." ....Yep these guys are all about "America".

Somebody, I think it was Waffler suggested that the CFR and Trilateral Commission were no more anti American than the Boy Scouts of America. I may not have that exactly right. But Here's a thought from Barry Goldwater on just what the function of the TC is...."Barry Goldwater, quotes about Education: The Trilateralist Commission is international...(and)...is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateralist Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power - political, monetary, intellectual, and ecclesiastical." ....Give it some thought Waffler.

Waffler, the cold war was a (semi) farce propogated by our own government to induce a "Government please save us" mentality. Stalin wanted peace and felt just as threatened by the US as the other way around. And perhaps what you don't understand as Hermine points out...it was American Industry and real free enterprise that made America great. The deindustrialization of America is yet another step in the road to slavery. A nation that can not support itself is a "dependant" not a leader, not a free nation. A slave state.

Archer, Mike, Howard...Beautiful! Well said all....

Joe, your a man after my own heart. NRA life member and Libertarian Party member here. Spread the word...the NRA is America's original homeland security team. And they don't act like Nazi's about it. And all of us are Libertarians at heart, we find that out when the government comes knocking....Jim K...notice that the Tea Party's aren't getting much media attention even though they happen almost daily? Wouldn't want people to think there might be an anti (socialist) government movement happening now would we?

J Carlton, Calgary

Anon, there is a further comparison to add. In a cashless society or where citizens are chipped (RFID)...we are no longer citizens...we are no longer even people, we're cattle, we're inventory. (Yes we can yes we can...)

My favorite term is "Global Village". I get an image of all the "villagers" who come dancing gaily from the hills....wearing burlap and eating gruel...

J Carlton, Calgary

Thank you Waffler. However seldom you and I might agree, we have diametrically opposing views of the world and the way it should be. I demand my freedom within moral law. You seem to hold a different version of "moral" than I do.....world's apart.

J Carlton, Calgary

Archer, you know what you're talking about. We become "corporations" for the fleecing when we accept a Social Security number. We enter into an agreement with our government to support it with our labor and our money along with whatever else they demand. They in turn provide us with "Social Security" which is a complete and utter farce.

J Carlton, Calgary

Waffler, do you have any idea what you are talking about?
