Like FEMA building camps for very large amounts of people? Like the Annointed One going after all aspects of firearms ownership? We have every indication right now that the hammer is about to fall. 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/11/09 re: Theodore Roosevelt quote Every President since Lincoln has been involved in the long term plan to remove your rights and empower the state. Willingly or not, they tow the line. Which is why its time for America to reinvent itself as a Republic of limited government. 7 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/11/09 re: Barry Goldwater quote You gotta love Goldwater. And speaking of security...REAL ID is back on the table at the White House. Yep! these bastards want to tag us all like sheep. What's next? Permission to drive down the Highway? "You're papers please" Has a familiar ring to it. doesn't it? Oh well, I'm sure it's for our own good.... Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/10/09 re: Michel Eyquem De Montaigne quote In the Media, at the political podium, in the schools...everywhere you look, you see the opposite of truth. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/7/09 re: H. L. Mencken quote "To agree with this one is to see only the bad in the world with no hope of good"...actually, to agree with this is to see only bad in our existing form of government. The "world" would be just fine with a lot less of their kind of help. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/7/09 re: Dr. Jim Boren quote Get in line for official piece's of paper comrade. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/7/09 re: Harry S. Truman quote A government might be measured only on its ability to fleece and control its people. That is the only thing a dictatorial government needs to be good at. And that requires bureacracy, Stalin knew that. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/7/09 re: H. L. Mencken quote Mencken is right, the best we can do is reduce and keep a leash on a small but necessary government. And Dapo, we don't have capitalism, never did. We have what is called economic fascism. And the way its going, we'll have military fascism before its over. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/6/09 re: Gilbert Keith Chesterton quote Apparently we're not the first to have noticed the blatant theft of Liberty and the American Way. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/6/09 re: J. P. Morgan quote An amazingly ironic analogy from the man who brought you the Fed and eternal financial slavery. And its true of every political policy. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/6/09 re: Oscar Levant quote 5 stars for accuracy. Once a politician crosses the bridge from honesty to...whatever it is they do...we should burn it behind them. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/5/09 re: James Buchanan quote Judith, I think Presidents age 10 years when they take office with all good intentions...and then one day some representatives of the International Bankers take them into a room and show them the film taken "from" the grassy knoll. ;-) Reply J Carlton, Calgary 8/4/09 re: Bill Clinton quote Thanks Juggs, for doing the leg work. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 7/31/09 re: Thomas Jefferson quote Alien statism is exactly what the underlying problem is. The aliens being European based bankers, The statism manifesting itself as economic fascism, combined with laws of control (not justice), crippling taxation and a beakdown of all things moral. The new America stands for nothing more than sheep like consumerism by people who's education is marginal at best. A huge change is required. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 7/30/09 re: Sam Ewing quote Mike, Clinton gave China emminent domain in the US? That's some pretty serious stuff. Any way to verify that? Reply J Carlton, Calgary 7/30/09 re: Cullen Hightower quote An allusion to the idea that Congress just can't help but be incompetent? Naw...its corruption, not incompetence. Life is like that in DC. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 7/29/09 re: Wright Patman quote "Trying to call A from Reston a communist without saying the word was pretty cheap. I say make the dirty rich pay the deficit."... That is just plain wrong headed. Rob the rich to feed the poor? There's still a crime taking place and a person of principle knows that. Perhaps what you are trying to say is eliminate the means of becoming rich by riding in the governments pocket? That's called fascism and its how corporations and politicians working together become filthy rich by working in collusion. But those who've worked their way to the top deserve every penny. Those who don't work deserve what they get too. That's the "American way" if you hadn't noticed. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 7/29/09 re: Wright Patman quote Anon, Reston...are you saying that the accomplishments of the wealthy were "stolen" from the poor? Been reading up on Che have ya?
