Democracy was and is mob rule in a cheap suit. Mike you hit on an important term: "Govern" It immediately implies authority without bounds. That's why I advocate a system of administration, not by election but by professional merit. The positions should be well paid to discourage graft and the holder of those position held completely accountable for non professionalism. So an election is never necessary and as long as an administrator is doing his or her job things are fine. There would be one hell of a lot less waste.

The idea of Democracy has anything "but" individual liberty as its goal.

One of the greatest illusions ever put forth by government was that the US is a democracy. It isn't. It's (supposed to be) a Constitutional Republic that holds its government to account. Now its just a front for some malignant international bankers. You're not a citizen...you're "inventory".

And to further illustrate, I think it was Benjamin Franklin who said..."A democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch" No Thanks!

Waffler, even though the elected officials and soldiers take an oath to uphold the Constitution it is the one thing they specifically do NOT do. The idea has become laughable. The majority of westerners haven't had to think about much more than..."The Blue Jetta or the Red Jetta ?..hmmm" In a very long time. But the reality is coming home to all of us very quickly now. We need to embrace "Americanism" in such a way as we haven't, since its inception.

It is my hope also the the Americans who are NOT Obamunists may yet save the day. They are the only people in the world with the will and means who might still make a difference. And "Anarchy" is merely the opposite of "Heirarchy". Limited government, not NO government, is what is required.
