The mafia is respect based on fear, as is our government. They cry terrorist, then tell us how they will protect us for a trillion dollars.

Cut is a better term than polish. Picture this ... a rotund legislator chopping a great tree with a block of steel at the end of an axe handle, declaring it the best method to fell trees, then writing a law to make it the only method allowed. Our government has severely bruised us with their authority.

Though republicans and democrats are the same party in different rhetoric, most people feel obligated to vote for one of these two parties because their parents did. I challenge you to investigate the Libertarian and other parties, then vote the party that most represents your views. As long as republi-crats run this country, your taxes will increase, government will become more intrusive, and we will continue to poke our noses into the internal business other countries that don't concern us.

This quote seems analogous to yesterday's from Tammy Bruce ... those in authority grant entitlements to some while denying them to others.

Using words like "can" rather than "usually" and liberals dismiss an entire quote as not possible. The point is ... an entitlement given to a few destroys that right for the rest of us. Example: entitlement to welfare denies the rest of us the right to our own salary.

TERRORISM: The unlawful use of force by an organized group against people with the intention of coercing society for political reasons. Our government violates the U.S. Constitution and our rights ... daily. According to The Patriot Act, our own government is a terrorist organization!

It SHOULD be the center of free inquiry and criticism. Unfortunately, those who speak freely on unpopular issues tend to get fired. Firing those with unpopular views demonstrates the inaccuracy of this statement.

The intentional distortions used are to gain control of people and governments. The greatest misuse of words in the U.S. is calling our Republic a democracy. Republic = rule by law; democracy = rule by majority.

I would define "...religious and spiritual influences..." as principles and morals, which are required to maintain Liberty.
