Yes, let's lop off the heads of those in Congress who propose or don't remove unconstitutional laws! The people may have their usurped rights restored.

The government IS taking our guns ... one make/model at a time. Machine guns shoot too many bullets too fast, .50 calibers are too big (California), assault weapons look too dangerous, handguns are too concealable, etc. But what good is any weapon against the special forces of our government (i.e. FBI, SWAT, army)? You'd be lucky to wound one of them defending your property before they kill you. Our government has armed them with the best weapons, vests, helmets, concussion grenades, etc. using OUR money!

Congress has created too many laws, to the extent that we are no longer free. The courts no longer follow the law, rather what they feel is best ... but for whom? The Second Amendment states the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, yet there are laws which require permits to purchase, and more. What part of shall not be infringed to they NOT understand?

Why should the intellectuals think for me? I can think for myself.

Unfortunately people 'react emotionally', rather than 'act logically'. People no longer influence our 'magistrates', our socialist government is now corrupt and control us.

Government should take this approach. If someone wants to hurt themselves (such as with drink or drugs) ... leave them alone. Only if a person poses a direct threat to others should the government propose laws to intervene.

Perhaps inferior, yet the trampled remain slaves, unless they rise up and trample the inferior.

Goebbels quote makes me shudder. While not one of the great quotes, it is well worth remembering. Especially when the U.S. government speaks about terrorism, the war in Iraq, and ... yes ... the Patriot Act.

Our founding fathers were willing to die, if necessary, to get out from under British control. Contol today is a tyrannical legislature and corrupt justice system that simply ignores the Constitution to enslave us.

Dictators on pedestals rather remind me of the U.S. legislature on Capitol Hill. With the Patriot Act II, they are no longer afraid of a little tiny mouse (the people). They use the FBI and police as a tomcat to further enslave us. Every day the mouse grows weaker and the tomcat fatter.

Yes, each religion believes only they know the truth. While preaching peace, they are all willing to kill and die to make their point.

The government would have us believe any inquiry of legislators is not meant to be known.

There are often multiple answers. For example: Are handguns good for self-defense? A Democratic Presidential candidate may answer ... Yes, and it's great to address the NRA ... No, and thanks to the Millions of moms who marched against the Second Amendment ... Maybe, only if my taxpayer provided armed guards can gun down the criminal first.

And if a million mom's march against handguns, it is still a foolish thing.

Our slavery increases with each new piece of legislation, such as the Patriot Act.
