In its contemporary incarnation, the Federal government is a mutant Leviathan, a hideosity that exists, primarily, to contra-Constitutionally arrogate power unto itself, to do so by means of its cultivating immorality, irresponsibility, sloth and demeaning State dependency, at the nominal top and actual bottom of society.

The unholy metier of most politicians, most particularly that of Pres. Trump's immediate predecessor.

It was Carl Jung who observed:

" The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases.

The antithesis of democracy and of all totalitarian and authoritarian ideologies.

In the absence of rightly constituted Moral Authority, of the tempering presence of Virtue, temporal authority derives from the application of brute force.

Freedom is a state of spiritual, moral, mental and emotional being such as can be realized only under the aegis and tutelage of Virtue.

"Freedom" experienced in the absence of Virtue is a delusion.

The cardinal character attribute for which advocates of power are in want is humility, the absence of which humanity, in its fullness, cannot exist.

An exquisite, irreproachable, distillation of the American Ideal.

As it is written:

" When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."

In the sphere of governance, as in all other spheres, the ennobling presence of Vital Virtue makes the defining difference.

Characteristically, the madness of the collective is a reflection of the madness of a malignly charismatic personification of their madness, as desperately without Virtue informed Reason as are they who react and act under the tutelage of lightless emotion.

The power and influence of legalists battens
on the mouldering frames of those who have abandoned Virtue and, by natural extension, Individual Sovereignty.

Pride, power and greed rooted intellectual and ideological posturing and pretense aside, human beings, individually and corporately, in the lightless sight of collectivists, are cattle/chattel.

Those power mongering latter day Pharisees who ostentatiously genuflect before the idol of equality do so on the basis of their possessing utterly no regard for the sanctity and the singularity of the humanity and of the individuality of each Individual.

Human equality exists only in the sight of the Creator and, ideally, under the Law.

As it is written:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

Ideological affectations and pretentious altruism aside, what is it that underlies morbid enthusiasm for absolutism, if not extreme narcissism and attendant power lust?

Cultivate Virtue.

Freedom will follow.

The American Ideal.

The powerful disposition of all morally weak governments has always been to suppress Liberty, partly in order to distract themselves from the illegitimacy of their rule, primarily because of cowardice.

The foremost faculty of ideological absolutists, of all stripes, is their unholy ability to maximally capitalize upon - in their zealous efforts to aggrandize and capitalize themselves ( e.g. B. & M. Obama, B. Sanders, N. Pelosi, A. Sharpton et al, ad infinitum) - the constitutional character frailties (pride, fear and envy, particularly) of those souls hapless enough to allow themselves to be beguiled by them.

The virtue of the limitation of government is apprehended only by those Sovereign Individuals whose Virtue illumined understanding reveals to them that the commission of Constitutional government is not the wanton cultivation of sloth, immorality, irresponsibility and base government dependency, at the nominal socioeconomic top and the actual socioeconomic bottom of society.

The ultimate constraint on the aggrandizement of the power of the ravening State is the Virtue informed self government of the Sovereign Individual.

Truly Virtuous stewardship never entails the
cultivation of states of dependency, whether within the construct of the Family, which is the seminary of the State, or within society, at large.

Characteristically, human beings are Virtuous individually, not collectively, though a truly exemplary example supplied by one can become a source of inspiration for the many, since the most sublime possible instructor is a Virtuous example.

Absolutist ideologies, whatever their coloration, are not rooted in Reality and are,
by their essentially unnatural natures, inimical to Life and Liberty.

Is known as the "Father of the American Revolution."

The nobility of his character resounds through the generations.

An American Colossus.

The Creator ordained right to Life and Liberty long preceded the evolvement of political philosophies and ideologies.

Lamentably, ideological zealots, who are sanctimonious religionists in everything but name, who are, in actuality, latter day Pharisees, in their power/control/weaith mongering quests, are prepared to sacrifice on the altar of their illusive ideological idols and agendas every right that is intrinsic to Life and Liberty.

Ultimately, Freedom resides in what ought to be the Virtue founded, universal and solemn acknowledgement of the singularity and dignity of the individuality of each individual.

The corraling of human beings into collectives ineluctably eventuates in their being rendered cattle/chattel.

It is for rightly refined powers of discernment that human beings characteristically want.

In the absence of Virtue informed discernment, which is a navigational Light that is essential to life, requisite, wholesome discrimination cannot occur.

Accordingly, the human race is governed, virtually en masse, by passion and prejudice.
