No one in a position of power with anything but the highest expectations for mankind. Wow a real heaven on earth. All we have to do is let the Kofi Annan' of the world save us. 2 Reply warren, olathe 9/4/07 re: United Nations' Loyalty Oath quote They all violate this oath. They are pure corruption with no viable check on their power. Few of the members abide by their agreements, only the more honest ones like the U.S. 1 Reply warren, olathe 9/4/07 re: Moses Moskowitz quote The UN is the biggest tyrant on earth. It is run by despots and dictators. It oversees mass murder on a regular basis and does nothing about it. Rwanda for example. The only purpose it has now is to subjugate the U.S. It no longer serves its intended purpose. Outer space photos show that China, South America and Africa are the source of almost all pollution on this planet and you will find that they are exempt in the Kyoto accord. The U.N. behaves as if its goal is global communism. This planet is doing fine. Only a fool would by into man made global warming. The whole theory negates itself because increased cloud cover creating an insulating effect (green house effect) will also reflect away the solar heat and actually will cause it to cool. This is left out of all global warming equations. 7Reply warren, olathe 8/31/07 re: Abraham Lincoln quote The south declared war on the north. GET IT RIGHT. Lincoln had his priorities right. The Union was to be saved first. Every thing else came after. He was no doubt the second best president we have had after Washington. This quote has constantly been used to support the lie that Lincoln was not against slavery or that slavery was not the cause of the war. That is wishful thinking on the part of racist/leftist idiots across the country. 5 Reply warren, olathe 8/30/07 re: Justice William O. Douglas quote People who don't want to leave others alone flock to government jobs. Reply warren, olathe 8/28/07 re: David Lloyd George quote Paying for your neighbor’s education is a benefit for all. By the way a neighbor paid for yours so I guess it comes out even. Of course it is hard to say that what goes on in schools today is really education. My grandchildren are home schooled. I was walking with my 4 year old grandson down a hall at a college. We saw a sign that read Gymnastics => he said "I want to see gymnastics". I was floored. He won't start his education for 2 more years yet he has picked that much up overhearing his older sisters classes at home. We graduate people who can't read from public schools. Go figure. Reply warren, olathe 8/28/07 re: Benjamin Franklin quote I think we need to ask Ben what he meant by his quote. I doubt that he was giving his approval of government confiscation of property on a whim. 1 Reply warren, olathe 8/28/07 re: James Anthony Froude quote This is the basis of our system. Unfortunately we keep transferring the responsibilities up the ladder. Eventually all rights and responsibilities will be at the top and we will be truly at the bottom. We just want to blame it on somebody else. 1Reply warren, olathe 8/28/07 re: Mark Twain quote Intellectual political rhetoric is the last thing we need. The stupidest things are always started by intellectuals. 1 Reply warren, olathe 8/28/07 re: Mark Twain quote Its lawyers stupid. That is what should be on any t shirt that is talking about the problem with government. It is lawyers that are the problem. Lawyers are constantly perverting law and courts. It is lawyers we fill government with. It is lawyers we need to free ourselves from. 4 Reply Warren, Olathe 8/28/07 re: James Monroe quote Government is a reflection of the people. The corruption starts with the people. When we start to expect the government to take care of our responsibilities, we get a Bill, Hillary, or our current congress. Corruption always fills a void left when responsibilities are ignored. We get what we are. If we want government to change we must begin with ourselves. 1 Reply Warren, olathe 8/23/07 re: Justice Robert H. Jackson quote The founders argued over this. I see both sides. The people have all rights and privilages not specifically designated to the state. The bill of rights was argued to be a contradiction to that. If rights are listed for the people it could be infered that any thing not listed belonged to the state. Then it was possible that any unforseen right or privilage would be gobbled up by the state since it was not forbiden it in the bill of rights. Reply Warren, olathe 8/22/07 re: Thomas Jefferson quote It is religious intolerance that we are at war with in the Middle East right now if you haven't noticed. We must defeat it or it will eventually destroy all of us. Reply warren, olathe 8/22/07 re: Alexander Hamilton quote Yep, in England when opening a bussiness you have on your sign by Apointment of the Crown if my memory serves. Reply warren, olathe 8/22/07 re: Daniel Webster quote He was againt the draft. KISS 1 Reply Warren, Olathe 8/22/07 re: Thomas Jefferson quote A very large difference Bruce. Dang you need an education. Must have gone to public school recently. Reply warren, olathe 8/22/07 re: Bill Clinton quote Bill was an absolute coward. That is why he did nothing with Osama when he had the chance. The only thing he did was NAFTA and no one knows for sure if the good out weighs the bad on that one. We do inhibit the right to bear arms. You didn't name one legal weapon did you? He was only willing to use the military when it meant nothing to the U.S. If it was important he refused to do anything. How any one could support or even like that scum bucket is beyond reason. Reply warren, olathe 8/22/07 re: William O. Douglas quote correct Reply warren, olathe 8/22/07 re: Treaty of Tripoli, 1796 quote They hate us because we are not radical Muslim and that all. Don't be stupid. They have been at it for 1500 years. The quote is proof of nothing. It was a treaty to try to appease. It failed. Has nothing to do with how or why this country was formed. Get a grip. 1 Reply warren, olathe 8/22/07 re: Justice Robert H. Jackson quote Another right winger. Reply warren, olathe 8/22/07 re: David Friedman quote The lack of concept of property must have been what drove the Indian tribes to kill each other over territory. They practiced that for their entire existence before we got here. As for sternwards of the land, they did not hesitate to set fire to prairie grass to stampede bison into pits or over cliffs. They sometimes killed an entire herd while only needing a small fraction of the herd. They often slaughter other tribes for territory or just because they felt like it. There were tribes that were very peaceful but many were not. Owner ship was a tribal thing not a private thing. Therefore Indians were not free in an individual sense. 10 Reply warren, olathe 8/22/07 re: Auberon Herbert quote Socialism is tyranny in its worst form. All socialists are totalitarians at heart.
