From the beginning of the republic, the same lust for power and command of the State has been at work. It is for this very reason that Washington DC was to be kept in check by the several States. Now that the US has been bankrupted and at the command of fascist leaders, the people seem to have forgotten the very principles that founded this nation. Both the media and the government need 'problems' for profits, so they make them up if they have to or turn "every contingency into a resource for accumulating force."
