Brilliant - I had this on my checks for years to remind me.

No wonder the establishment and the UN want to disarm the citizens - not the governments or rulers - of this world of ours. Dictators and power-hungry zealots will always fear the muzzle end of a gun.

A forgotten virtue -- dare I say, the foundation of a free people.

Control your base instincts and desires and you control your life. It is so very simple and yet so hard to do, apparently.

Seneca's stature was that of our noblemen of nature Founders, with whose cause he would have identified and almost certainly supported.

Humans of integrity grow stronger, and as they grow,  realize and try to relegate their behavior.  To balance out the individual/community behavior is going to lead to most appropriate behavior, individual as well as community.  We want everyone to have integrity.
